silently filled
with un-containable
joy

I lose control
of emotional surge
and wonder if
I've transformed

Is it pain
or something more
this response
I can't explain

Do I feel it deeper
than others or
am I just like
everyone

The win, the loss
the triumph
the sadness
pounds

It must be a
part of the
human experience
to emote

One chains after the other
one causes a second
one brings response
laughter or tears

Others seem to cope
and contain
forcing me to do
the same

One day all will go
released at once
unable to stop it
